The iPhone app

Safe Little Faces is designed to process photos privately on your iPhone. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. It has no account, developer-operated server, advertising, tracking, or analytics.

Photos and face detection

You choose photos through Apple's system photo picker. Face detection and editing use Apple frameworks on your device. The app does not identify people, infer age, or match faces across photos.

Exports

Protected photos are newly created files. Source location, capture date, camera, lens, device, and similar image metadata are not copied into exported files. Originals are not changed.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases. Safe Little Faces reads the resulting App Store entitlement to unlock unlimited exports. Apple's policies govern transaction and payment data.

Local storage

The app stores the successful-export count and purchase-unlock status needed to provide its features. Photo edits are not uploaded to the developer.

This website

SafeLittleFaces.com uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, page usefulness, device categories, and referrals. The analytics tag respects browser Do Not Track signals. Google may receive ordinary web data such as an approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, and referral information. We use this information to improve the website and do not use it to receive or process photos from the app.

Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and may process network and security logs needed to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. The site does not offer an account, upload form, advertising, or sale of personal information.

Children

The app is made for adult parents and caregivers, not for children to use independently. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
